This lake house
was built using local materials with a simple A-frame construction that
is anything but typical.  Toronto-based architects UUfie have drawn from
elements in nature - fish scale shingles, window panes that look like
trees, and an exterior terrace with a mirrored roof - creating a sleekly
designed space that blends in with its surroundings.  Note to
homeowners: willing to rent by the week.
